I have just counted the “Adience Vote”.

Of the 66 Sequences entered just 26 0f them failed to get any vote at all from the 22 folk who saw every Sequence and chose to vote. Of the 110 maximum, the highest score was 25 ! To me this illustrates how good virtually all the Sequences were, and how difficult it must have been for the Judges to make their selection.

Here are the results of the Audience Vote:   - Sorry Now Corrected Below

1 The Picasso of the Pier by Richard Brown with 25

2= Striped Pyjamas by Ron Davies and Peter Coles

and The Sound of … by Keith Scott with 24 each

STOP PRESS —-   WOOPSE !!!

I have just found two more voting slips which got left behind in the Runner-up Cup !!!! These have dramatically altered the results:

Just 27 of the 66 had no popular vote

Out of atotal maximum of 120 the highest score was

Striped Pyjamas” by Ron Davies and Peter Coles with 28

2nd was “The Sound of …” by Keith Scott with 27

& 3rd “The Picasso of the Pier” by Richard Brown. with 25

The Judges’ winner got a mere 8

The Judges 2nd got 12

and their 3rd 10

The Introuctory Sequence got more than these (14)  !!!!!!!!!

Don’t forget that these votes mean less than may seem apparent - the vote in Tonbridge Wells will be added to this before the the last AV WORLD Medal in the world is awarded.

Hearty Congratulations to Jacques van de Weerdt the overall Judges’ choice for the Grand Prix and FIAP Gold Medal who was one of our Judges for the event held in Bradford last year.
