I can see the Capel Curig DAV listed here but cannot view it. How can I view it please?

There are two ways, Jim.
One is dowload it via the http://www.yousendit.com code which is given below notes about the Sequence. This will provide you with the Sequence at maximum quality.
The other is to click on Audio Visual on the left hand side of the site; there you will find just over twently Sequences on Youtube.com which can be viewed instantly without downloading anything. These are shown via the youtube collections and are at a much reduced quality but they do at least give a quick impression of what the Sequences are all about.

Peter

An excellent piece of work which conveys the contrast between the dampness outside and the fellowship inside. I like the way you blend the photos and have been experimenting with P2E myself but have found little guidance on the use of keypoints, something you briefly mentioned on the day. I’ll keep digging around until I find help in order to complete my piece on the Whit Friday Band Contests.
Thanks again
Jim
If you look on the http://www.Beechbrook.com site then click PTE and all that follows that, there are several excellent tutorials within a category labelled as such.
Basically if you open up, on any image, “objects and animation” then with % set at a low enough figure to see the image in Grey, right click on the grey bit then add then image then do that i.e. select an image to add to one you already have. This added image can then be moved, zoomed, rotated etc by right clicking on the blue flag then pacing it further along the time line and telling the image what to do from one bit to the next.
It is often useful to do this with images stored as PNGs rather than jpgs as PNGs can be created from bits of a total frame by cloning these bits into a blank (transparent) new frame.
This can be done with as many images as you ever care to add to that frame. You can also link movements of one image with another so that they move or zoom or rotate together. Don’t forget that these can also be faded in and/or out through using the % control of the png images added along the time line!
It might sound complicated, but it’s simple when you know how!
Easiest to just do it - but with someone who knows how to put you right alongside you (and that’s not as easy to achieve!)

Just to say it’s been a real treat to be able to download and view so many of your sequences from this site. I’ll certainly be keeping an eye out for more!

Very good work, but why no more downloading ? (it’s better to see full screen than in a little window in streaming with low definition)

Many thanks for your comments.
From time to time I will put Sequences on this site as .exe files which can be downloaded. The main purpose of this is to help me with comments during early stages of their development. Other purposes are when they refer to current happenings. I am not all that enamoured with having a load of Sequences for folk to use willy-nilly as and when they choose. I am quite prepared to supply any of my Sequences for use in a responsible way by folk who give that guarantee. Several are being used in this way currently. The Youtube versions can give folk an impression of any they may want to use or even see privately in more detail.

Currently (Nov 10th) there are 10 .exe files for download on this site. Most of them will be replaced within 14 days.

Hello Peter,

Having just finished reading the book, ‘Striped Pyjamas’ I’d like to see you and Ron’s Sequence again. Is it possible via the web, please?

All the Best

Joan

It is always on http://www.youtube.com under “avpeter” - just over 1300 folk have seen it on this site - there are about 50 of my Sequences there currently, but I will certainly send you a copy of the PTE file of “Striped Pyjamas” tonight - the exe file is a musch better definition.

Hello Peter,
Long time no talk or see and I wish to beg a favour. Please would it be possible to let me have a copy of your Temptations sequence? It may fit in with something we are discussing on an Alpha course.
Kind regards,
Peter
Thanks Peter. The Temptations will be sent to you. There are others that may be useful to you for discussion on an Alpha course; see my avpeter on http://www.youtube.com
