Help for Pat Lawrence, please!
“I have a Sony camcorder DCR HC85E which is about 4 years old. I am looking for an underwater housing to fit this. Because camcorder is ‘old’ I can’t buy a new housing anywhere. I don’t feel justified in buying a new camcorder when there is nothing wrong with the one I have. Could you please put my request on your website.”

The “Royale”,
arguably the ultimate and best traditional AV equipment.
Its main virtues comprise compactness, versatility, accurate slide
registration, auto-focussing and integrated cassette deck.
This AV setup is complimented by a pair of quality portable speakers and a projector stand that is easily assembled from a conveniently designed and equally portable carrying case.
Overall, the “Royale” is beautifully made and robust for continual and reliable use and this model has been looked after with considerable TLC.
Originally supplied with ‘standard’ 90mm f2.4 lenses, the outfit cost around £3,000. Additional long focus lenses were purchased later (150mm f2.8) to accommodate shows in village halls etc and these lenses in themselves cost £270 each.
Offers welcomed and accepted in the region of £500.

We’ve probably met – I must admit that I don’t recall, but I believe we were both at a AMI festival in Dallas Texas many moons ago. I worked at ABT. I’m a director, producer and writer, wife of Paul Hicks, friend of Mal Padgett and Art Lewry …
I’ve started a group on Facebook called Multi Image Artisan Workshop (MIAW) and thought you might be interested. Mal was over for dinner recently and was talking about the possibility of having a festival here (Australia) in a similar vein to Fantadia. I thought we might be able to generate some interest by having a central place for industry professionals to keep in touch together. Even if it doesn’t lead to a festival, it might lead to other good things, and maybe help grow passion in the industry amongst potential newcomers.
Anyway, I’d love it if you could have some input. You need to register with facebook to get involved in the group. The group address is:

I look forward to hearing from you – perhaps on Facebook.
Cheers,

I currently produce AV Travelogs which I show to local Church Groups, Charities etc. Due to the ‘ageing’ process I am now finding transporting 2 Projectors, Recorders, Imatronics Amplifers etc.etc. a problem and would be interested in obtaining a ‘Royale Projector’. If any one in the L&CPU area has one for sale at a reasonabe price I would be interested.
Is it possible for you to put a wanted add on your for sale page.
Yes, of course.
I will do that now.
